This was a fashion show presented by M.E. Boutique in Downtown Sacramento to donate 20% of all purchases to the MIND Institute. The MIND Institute is a science research organization that researches autism and other mental illnesses that was created and directed by Dr. Leonard Abbeduto. The clothing from M.E. Boutique was modeled by volunteered teenage girls on a fashion run way inside the boutique. The girls hand picked 2 outfits that they liked from M.E. Boutique and modeled them on the runway. hosts Cara Cooper and Elizabeth Mendez not only organized and managed the event but they also spoke about their personal family experiences with autism that really enlightened the audience what the MIND Institute is all about. It really showed itself to be a fabulous show which people loved and enjoyed. I know I certainly will never forget it.
